by Brianna Crandall — May 23, 2014—CoreNet Global announced recently that Zurich Insurance Group, the City of Dallas, and the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corp. are the winners of three annual best practices awards given by the global corporate real estate (CRE), workplace and economic development association. CoreNet Global presents the awards each year to industry-leading organizations that demonstrate best-in-class practices in advancing CRE thought leadership.
Senior leaders judging more than 50 entries across the three awards categories selected the following winners:
- Zurich Insurance Group received the 2014 CoreNet Global Industry Excellence Award for Project Neutrino, a new approach to value-based partnership sourcing.
- The Economic Development Leadership Award was presented to the PIDC (Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation) for its work on The Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
- The City of Dallas received the Sustainable Leadership Award for its implementation of Green Building Codes.
Phase 1 winners from the three award competitions were elevated to compete this summer at Emory University in Atlanta among other finalists (listed below) for the 2014 H. Bruce Russell Global Innovator’s Award (GIA), sponsored by Gensler. The Global Innovator’s Award winner will be announced in October at the CoreNet Global Summit in Washington, DC.
