Corrigo buys Aligo and expands service management portfolio

January 17, 2007—Corrigo, Inc., provider of on-demand service management solutions, has acquired Aligo, a complementary provider of mobile field service and service management solutions. The combined company will offer the most comprehensive suite of on-demand applications for field service management available through wireless carriers. Corrigo will service 1,500 customers in 65,000 locations in managing more than 10 million service transactions a year.

According to Corrigo, its acquisition of Aligo enables a number of customer needs to be met for the first time from a single vendor through major wireless carriers. Among them are tracking labor hours for payroll or job costing; dispatching and managing work orders; eliminating inefficient paperwork without requiring expensive installation of software or hardware.

Aligo brings two successful product lines to Corrigo: WorkTrack time collection and location tracking and Servicom total service management solutions for HVAC and related contract service organizations. These will continue to be supported and enhanced as part of an integrated Corrigo service management product suite.

The two companies point out that the combination of Corrigo’s work order management and Aligo’s timecard functionality could eliminate all field paperwork and reduce the administrative costs of reconciling service billing and payroll processes.
