by Rebecca Walker — May 13, 2009—CrestPoint Solutions announced that KEG Technologies is merging its expertise in custom controls and monitoring solutions with CrestPoint’s ability to deliver superior facility reporting. Together the two companies bring real-time remote monitoring and management capabilities across the Internet to the desktop to improve mission critical facility operations.
CrestPoint Solutions offers immediate access to critical business records through its Web-hosted solution, allowing companies to better manage their data, effectively plan and implement projects, and obtain accurate reporting information to ensure their facility is operating at maximum efficiency. KEG Technologies provides custom controls and monitoring solutions to maintain the integrity of their facility infrastructure.
“We’ve had a longstanding relationship with CrestPoint Solutions,” said Sohail Kayani, founder and CEO of KEG Technologies. “Merging our solutions just made sense for our customers. The combination of these cloud-enabled services allows our customers to stop throwing resources at supporting their infrastructure. Now they’ll have the tools at their fingertips to evaluate data, share resources easily and respond rapidly to notifications with greater insight.”
Together the two companies can offer a level of support not previously achieved with proprietary solutions. For example, with a window to a data center operation, a facility manager can monitor room temperatures, equipment output and make adjustments on the fly to maintain the stability of the infrastructure and reduce energy costs. A telecommunications provider can easily view emergency alerts and assign resources to sites based on real-time reports or manually adjust systems and stabilize them remotely.
KEG Technologies will maintain an office in Southern California and will continue to offer site-commissioning services as a valuable offering to both CrestPoint and KEG Technologies’ clients.
