by Brianna Crandall — May 29, 2015—C&S Companies has introduced computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) with its new brand, Q Ware. This facilities maintenance management software is specifically designed for small and medium-sized organizations and offers a simple, easy-to-use cloud-based interface.

Q Ware includes five facilities maintenance modules designed to make the management of work orders, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory management, asset management, and facility event scheduling more efficient and effective.

“Q Ware is maintenance software made simple. It can be easily adopted by organizations such as K-12 schools, universities and colleges, healthcare facilities, airports, industrial facilities, banking facilities and others,” says Rick Clonan, vice president and general manager. “Any organization that adopts it will greatly benefit from improved record keeping, better information sharing, reduction of paper-based records, and more timely communications. Q Ware is a great new CMMS resource with features similar to more expensive software designed for large organizations but which are difficult to use and require extensive training. Now even small operations can start employing 21st century technology.”

Some newly released Q Ware features include an add-on that syncs Q Ware with local user management systems and a more robust mobile work order management interface. Future enhancements to the applications dashboard and interface, as well as providing the ability to communicate with other facility-related systems, are soon to be introduced. A two-minute Q Ware video can be found on the QWare Web site.

The origin of Q Ware, Que Centre, was acquired by C&S Companies in 2007, the “Q” standing for work order queue, or line. C&S Companies is an expert architectural, engineering, and construction services firm.
