Davis Furniture’s executive and multi-purpose chairs pass SCS emissions testing

by Rebecca Walker — February 23, 2009—Davis Furniture, a family owned and operated manufacturer of contemporary office furniture, announced that its entire line of Executive Chairs passed Emissions Testing from Scientific Certification Systems (SCS).

In addition, the company’s multi-purpose chairs passed BIFMA Emissions Testing from SCS.

The company’s line of executive seating has received Indoor Air Quality Certification. That includes Motion, Webb, Body, Lucid and the new series Fenix. These chairs are now recognized as meeting all qualifications to be certified for Indoor Advantage and Indoor Air Quality Certified, and they conform to the ANSI/BIFMA Furniture Emissions Standards for open plan and private office.

Multi-purpose chairs that passed BIFMA Emissions Testing are Ch@t, Kirkos, Lipse, Loop, Milano, Nyo, Orta, and Zeno. These chairs are now recognized as meeting all necessary qualifications to be certified for Indoor Advantage GOLD and Indoor Air Quality Certified, and they conform to the ANSI/BIFMA Furniture Emissions Standards for open plan and private office and CA 01350 specifications.
