by Ann Withanee — November 10, 2010—DFS Commercial, Inc., a provider of commercial flooring products and services, has spun off its restoration and maintenance services division to create a new corporation, DFS Green, according to the company.
DFS Green will operate as a standalone corporation and provide restoration and maintenance services for business interiors on a national basis. Both DFS Commercial and DFS Green will continue to operate in tandem to provide a full spectrum of flooring and textile products and services to commercial end-users, facility and property managers, design firms, and general contractors.
DFS Green will focus exclusively on restoring and maintaining business interiors to improve the appearance, increase cleanliness, and extend the life-cycle of flooring, furniture, and other textile products. DFS Green offers proprietary chemistries and processes for the preservation of interior assets, and its LEED Accredited Professionals will ensure compliance and support for all its clients’ Green initiatives.
