by Rebecca Walker — December 20, 2010—Digital Lumens, developer of the Intelligent Lighting System, has released LightRules, the company’s lighting management software.
LightRules features expanded control and reporting capabilities that empower facility staff to manage lighting delivery and directly impact the bottom line.
As part of the Digital Lumens Intelligent Lighting System, which integrates LEDs, sensors and controls into a single, networked solution, LightRules enables managers and staff to specify precisely how each intelligent light fixture behaves by time or day of week, and fixture-by-fixture, aisle-, room-, or facility-wide, notes the company.
This latest version of LightRules gives facility managers a simple yet informative dashboard for quick system status updates, detailed scheduling tools, and the ability to configure different facility lighting profiles. It also provides a full suite of reporting templates that can be used for internal monitoring or utility measurement and verification (M&V) purposes. In addition, it includes role-based security controls, to ensure that each user can only access the LightRules features for which they are authorized.
Digital Lumens develops LED-based Intelligent Lighting Systems that reduce industrial customers’ lighting-related electricity expenses up to 90 percent and transform lighting into a managed asset, improving efficiency, control and operational insight, says the company.
