by Brianna Crandall — September 19, 2018 — With the arrival of fall, the US Department of Energy’s (DOE) Better Buildings initiative has announced the dates and subjects for its monthly Better Buildings Webinar Series. Based on input and feedback from Better Buildings partners and affiliates, this series is dedicated to bringing fresh, actionable insights on the evolving terrain of achieving energy and water efficiency in the built environment. Industry experts and peer professionals will explore and present proven best practices, cost-effective strategies, the latest technologies and more in their pursuit of energy and water efficiency goals.
The 2018-2019 Series premiered Tuesday, September 18, revisiting top-rated presentations from the 2018 Better Buildings Summit. Featured presentations include Building a Next Generation Workforce for Next Generation Buildings (with Richie Stever, University of Maryland Medical Center), Transition Planning for Energy Managers (with Matthew Pekar, United Technologies Corporation), and Investor-Oriented Sustainability Insights (with Brenna Walraven, Corporate Sustainability Strategies, Inc.).
