The panels expand the company’s current product lines of translucent daylighting systems, architectural illumination systems and specialty structures. Duo-Gard’s decorative panels typically run about 75 percent of the industry’s current costs, said the company.
Available in translucent or opaque designs in standard patterns plus custom options, the panels are acrylic or polycarbonate. Many panels carry a CC1-Class A fire rating and feature recycled content as well as 100 percent recyclability.
A diverse array of patterns and colors includes botanicals, mosaics, rippling waves and grids in green, blue, lavender, silver, gold and more. Translucent styles maintain the flow of diffuse light throughout a room’s interior, enabling designers to enhance the sustainable benefits of daylighting. Duo-Gard’s custom backlighting and illumination systems include both static and color-changing LEDs.
