by Brianna Crandall — March 9, 2018 — EarthTronics, developer of innovative energy-efficient, cost-saving lighting products designed to provide a positive economic and environmental impact, has just introduced new light-emitting diode (LED) ceiling panel lights with a unique high-definition color tunable design to precisely adjust both the color temperature and the light level in office, retail, educational and commercial applications.
The LED Color Changing Panels can be fine-tuned from a warm 3000K color experience to a cool, natural 5000K color. The panel lights can be easily addressed and linked together in several configurations, with one control capable of operating up to 250 fixtures, says the company. Light level can be adjusted from a smart phone or optional handheld control. There is no need to run extra wiring for hardwired dimmer controls.
Available are three sizes for typical drop ceiling applications: the 40-watt 1’x4’ and 2’x2’ LED Color Changing Panels produce up to 4100 lumens, while the 50-watt 2’x4’ unit provides up to 5200 lumens. EarthTronics says the panel lights are quality constructed using an extruded aluminum frame, with an attractive impact resistant acrylic lens that helps achieve a wide light distribution pattern.
The panel lights offer architects, designers, specifiers and facilities managers (FMs) the ability to easily set lighting for offices, boardrooms, classrooms, retail spaces and any other location where the ability to select a changing color temperature is necessary to increase visual comfort.
The new LED Color Changing Panels are Design Light Consortium (DLC) listed. They may be accepted for utility rebates in many markets. For more information, visit the EarthTronics Web site.
