Foreseer 5.0 is a combination of software technology, data acquisition strategies and professional services that provide a much-needed window into the operational state of enterprise-wide facilities infrastructure equipment, says the company.

Foreseer 5.0 supports Eaton’s Power Xpert Reporting software, which aggregates power and energy data into standard report formats. It also features enhanced WebView tools with automatic scaling and filtering capabilities, as well as a new Web browser portal widget that utilizes HTML iFrame technology. The new Foreseer browser widget embeds multiple iFrame objects on a single WebView page, allowing users to conveniently add several media streams for continuous monitoring on a single Foreseer screen.

Typical iFrame objects could include Webcams overlooking mission-critical equipment such as generators, switchgear or control panels, media streams of weather forecasts, news and audio feeds, or system alerts.

Users have the option to tailor Foreseer to a wide range of organizations accommodating single locations with thousands of data inputs or widespread global enterprises with hundreds of remote locations. Foreseer connects equipment and users anywhere in the world through an intuitive graphical interface, Web access, multiple views from global to individual components, multi-level alarm thresholds and complete asset management.

Foreseer 5.0 is available for shipment. For additional information, see the Web site.
