EMCOR Group subsidiary to install electrical systems at college parking structure

by Rebecca Walker — December 31, 2008—EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that the San Diego branch of its Dynalectric subsidiary has received a contract for the installation of all electrical systems involved in the construction of the Grossmont Community College parking structure in El Cajon, California.

Dynalectric San Diego will be responsible for the installation of all electrical systems involved in the construction of the Grossmont Community College parking structure, a 402,000-square-foot facility attached to a 3,200-square-foot public safety building. The project will include an emergency generator for life safety and emergency standby systems, an electrical distribution system designed to support the various communication and security systems that campus police and security use every day, and a full notification fire alarm system, card access system, CCTV system and intrusion detection system.
