EMCOR Group to provide engineering services for Department of Homeland Security facility

by Brianna Crandall — November 26, 2014—EMCOR Government Services (EGS), a subsidiary of EMCOR Group, was recently awarded a contract by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during the third quarter of 2014 for a range of engineering services and monitoring services for a wide variety of other contractors and subcontractors at one of DHS’s secure facilities in Washington, DC.

EMCOR Government Services will be responsible for engineering services, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing design review, as well as space planning for tenant renovations and reconfigurations. Scope of work also includes escorting and monitoring these contractors and subcontractors performing work within the secure facility.
