by Rebecca Walker — December 17, 2008—EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its Gowan, Inc. subsidiary has received a contract for the installation of mechanical systems for the expansion project at Memorial Hermann Hospital Systems in Houston, Texas.
Gowan will be responsible for the mechanical systems installations involved in the 59,000-square-foot expansion of the hospital’s southwest satellite kitchen. The project includes a complete HVAC and plumbing retrofit, control systems, and grease exhaust systems also being installed by Gowan.
