by Shane Henson — January 27, 2012—Facilities managers and other purchasers searching for chairs that are comfortable, stylish, and easy to stack can now take advantage of Southern California-based Encore’s newest seating option.
The company recently expanded its popular Nexxt collection to include a lighter-scaled polypropylene-back option. As with their fully upholstered counterparts, these models are also available in a full family of seating styles, including nesting stack chairs, stackable guest chairs, and high-performance task models, but feature the added durability of polypropylene to accommodate high-traffic areas, say the company’s designers.
Compatible in a variety of work and waiting applications, the Nexxt Poly-Back combines the versatility and convenience of the original models with the form and charm of Flurry, a polypropylene stack chair that Encore debuted in early 2010. The decision to combine the two was a direct response to customers’ requests for a poly-back option on the Nexxt series. With its distinctive contoured back and signature cut-outs, Flurry was a natural choice and complemented the silhouette of Nexxt models with ease, notes Encore.
Available in eight contemporary back colors—Cocoa, Key Lime, Medium Grey, Mimosa, Scarlet, Sky, Soft White and Very Black—the new poly-back offering presents a fresh new look and feel while maintaining the collection’s playful, yet purposeful appeal.
The complete series includes versatile nesting/stack chairs that feature a flip-up seat for endless nesting capabilities, stackable guest chairs with an optional ganging device, and task models complete with a wide assortment of mechanisms and options. All styles are available with or without arms as well as with black or metallic silver frame finishes.
