EnFlex, a facility and energy management system, has introduced two additional legacy system connectivity solutions. EnFlex now connects to and supports Novar(R) and Andover control systems. Through the connection of these systems via EnFlex native drivers, these existing systems become web enabled. This allows for remote control, monitoring, alarming and management of the EMS via the Internet and private intranets.
The EnFlex software features an open architecture based on the Linux operating system. An application programming interface allows existing enterprise applications to communicate through the EnFlex gateways, and, in turn, with the existing EMS. An embedded scripting language also allows the creation of unique monitoring and control solutions for facility management applications. The system also comes with a graphical user interface with many common facility monitoring and control, applications built in.
