by Shane Henson — January 13, 2014—ENTERTECH SYSTEMS, the U.S. operating partner for Suprema Inc., announced last week that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Software House, part of the security products business unit of Tyco, to provide the Suprema line of biometric devices and readers to Software House and its CCURE 9000 security and event management system customers.
As a result of this partnership, the Suprema line of biometric devices, which includes fingerprint detection, card and personal identification number (PIN) devices, and ENTERTECH SYSTEMS’ BioConnect application will be resold and supported through Software House. The Suprema line of products includes:
- BioStation T2, a high-performance fingerprint Internet protocol (IP) terminal
- BioStation, a full-featured fingerprint IP terminal
- BioEntry Plus, a fingerprint IP reader/controller
- BioEntry W, a fingerprint IP reader/controller
- BioLite Net/Solo, an outdoor fingerprint IP terminal

“This integration with the Suprema line of biometric devices and application solutions enables us to provide customers with a biometric system that seamlessly integrates with Software House’s CCURE 9000 security and event management system,” said Rick Focke, senior product manager for Software House.
To offer the Suprema line to customers, ENTERTECH SYSTEMS and Software House offer the BioConnect application to ensure a tight integration between the biometric devices and CCURE 9000 security and event management system. CCURE 9000 customers now have the ability to integrate a proven and tested biometric solution as part of their access control system, ENTERTECH SYSTEMS says.
“Our mission at ENTERTECH SYSTEMS is to ensure all our customers can easily overcome the three main obstacles to mainstream adoption of biometric access control—high cost, complexity and difficult user onboarding. So we are excited about this new partnership between ENTERTECH SYSTEMS and Software House as together, we will be able to extend this value to Software House customers,” said Rob Douglas, CEO of ENTERTECH SYSTEMS.
