November 7, 2007—The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently updated its Top Green Power Purchasers list highlighting organizations committed to purchasing green power. Combined, the National Top 25 Green Power Partners (GPP) account for more than 6.2 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) per year of green power purchasing.
The Green Power Partnership works with a wide variety of leading organizations–from Fortune 500 companies to local, state, and federal governments, and a growing number of colleges and universities. The Top Partner rankings highlight the annual green power purchases of leading organizations within the US and across individual industry sectors.
Purchase figures are based on annualized partner contract amounts (kilowatt-hours), not calendar year totals.
