by Brianna Crandall — July 10, 2020 — SiS Ergo and HAT Contract, workspace ergonomic brands of parent company Innovative Office Products (IOP), recently announced new products intended for today’s office environment and work-from-home spaces. The products are part of SiS Ergo and HAT Contract’s new Safe Spaces program, a robust initiative designed to meet the needs of the evolving workspace environment.
SiS Ergo M Nesting Table
SiS Ergo’s innovative M Nesting table is suitable for the home office or the workplace. End users choosing it for a home office solution will enjoy its ergonomic sit-to-stand benefits and its easy stow-away capability. Available on wheels for enhanced mobility, this single-user desking solution features a 90-degree flip-down petal-shaped surface, making it easy to fold up and store in a closet or against a wall. It quickly adjusts to a desired height range of 28.6” to 45.1” without the use of power.
Within an office setting, the SiS Nesting table can easily meet individual tasking or group collaboration needs, while also offering social distancing. Its unique petal-shaped surface design allows for multiple configurations.
Tables can be easily arranged for training, small-group breakout sessions or larger team meetings. With an option to add a dry-erase white board laminate, the tables instantly become a source for sharing or presenting. Notes taken on the surface top can be flipped 90 degrees and the table raised in a presentation mode when needed.
Featuring SiS Ergo’s minimalistic Danish-inspired design aesthetic, it comes standard with a white frame finish, with white or Kensington maple top surface options. Easy and quick to clean, custom frame finishes are available upon request.
HAT Contract Mesa Wrap and Slide Divider
To enhance workplace safety and privacy, HAT Contract’s Mesa Wrap Divider provides three protective surfaces that enclose a desk, adding division between individual workspaces to help with today’s social distancing requirements.
Available in iced gray and charcoal finishes, the Mesa Wrap Divider can be easily clamped to an existing desk or work surface and extends 24” above the surface.
The Mesa Slide Divider is lightweight and portable. It can be quickly slipped on or off any desking area — including cafeteria or conference room settings — offering privacy or collaboration as needed. Available in ash or slate, it comes in a 24” height and a 24” length. Both Mesa dividers are made of PET and can be easily cleaned and sanitized. They also provide acoustical advantages to reduce noise in open office floor plans.
Safe Spaces
HAT and SiS’s new Safe Spaces initiative is comprised of two distinct collections: the Office Collection and the Home Collection. Curated from both brand’s extensive product offerings, solutions in each collection directly address the elevated need for safety, wellness, human connectivity and productivity. Both the Home and Office product solutions were selected for their quick delivery, easy set-up, simple cleanability and immediate use.
Safe Spaces: Home offers three different workspace product options: mobile, adaptable or fixed solutions. End users can choose the best solution for how and where they want to work at home.
Safe Spaces: Office is defined by flexible products that enable businesses to quickly adapt to the new safety, health and social distancing requirements needed today. The Safe Spaces launch marks the beginning of an ongoing effort to meet workplace and home office needs; additional products will be added to each collection frequently.
Both brands were intended to be exhibitors at this year’s NeoCon contract furnishings show in Chicago.
