eSSETS provides FMs with career-advancing communication tips

by Shane Henson — January 15, 2014—There may not be a one-size-fits-all approach to succeeding as a facilities management professional, but with a new eBook from eSSETS, those in the industry can gain insight into key strategies they can employ to communicate more effectively so they can get where they aspire to be faster and easier.

The complimentary 34-page publication, Advance Your Facilities Management Career: 7 Principles That Help You Communicate and Advance, was written by asset and facilities management software expert Paul Roberts.

As Roberts notes, poor communications between the facilities, accounting and finance departments can adversely affect an FM professional’s performance and career. The information available in the eBook helps to translate the principles of accounting into terms the FM professional can understand and use when communicating with their accounting and finance departments.

“My goal in writing this eBook is to help FM professionals communicate more effectively with their CEO, CFO, controller and other senior managers at their company,” he said. “This eBook is intentionally short and to the point, yet provides valuable tips on terminology FMs can understand and use.”

eSSETS, a provider of cloud-based asset and facilities management software, also announced that the 45-minute video recording of the recent Webinar on the same topic is now also available.
