European awards honor best-in-class innovators, including integrated FM

by Brianna Crandall — December 17, 2010—Showcasing “unparalleled innovation” across a wide variety of technologies and markets, twenty exemplary organizations were honored at Frost and Sullivan’s recent European Excellence in Best Practices Banquet, held in London.

The evening celebrated the positive impact which these companies’ unique solutions and services are making across a diverse range of markets, ranging from medium voltage drives, biogas process optimization and patient monitoring to integrated facilities management.

At the banquet, Frost and Sullivan identified 10 Global Mega Trends that range from Urbanization (how Mega Cities, Mega Regions, Mega Corridors are changing the world) and Social Trends (how Geo socialization, Gen Y and the Reverse Brain Drain are transforming interactions) to Healthcare (how paradigms are shifting from treatment to prevention) and E-mobility (how Smart Cities represent a new way of organizing and managing new fluidities in the personal and professional space).

Among the FM-related winners of the 2010 Best Practices Awards are:

  • European Conferencing Services New Product Innovation Award: Ring2 Conferencing
