by Brianna Crandall — February 20, 2015—EYE Lighting International, manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, controls and related lighting systems, has announced two new members of its Aphos family of light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires, comprising the Aphos Mini Series.
The EYE Aphos Ceiling Mount and Wall and Area Minis are designed to be affordable, rugged and versatile.
The Aphos Minis are suitable for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications needing bright, white light, including parking garages, parking lots, canopies, stairwells, warehouses, building façades, awnings and similar settings. Modular custom optics effectively focus light on task while reducing unwanted glare.
Aphos Mini 39W LED Luminaires deliver 3,000 lumens in LED Distribution Types II, IIA, III, and V. The series has IP65 rated optics, and an IP67 rated driver for protection against water, insects and dirt. Customers may select either 4000K or 5000K color temperatures, with 70 CRI. Five different powder coat color finishes are available.
EYE Aphos Mini Luminaires feature a patented, dynamic airflow thermal design that draws heat away from the LED array, allowing cooler operation and longer life. The circuit design is smart, with over-protection, voltage protection, and current protection. The driver power factor is >0.9 at 95% efficiency and provides protection against surges and transient voltages.
Aphos Minis are ETL Listed, and many models are DLC Qualified. The EYE Aphos Mini Series comes with a five-year warranty.
