May 19, 2003—FBG Service Corporation, a national facility maintenance service and management company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, has completed the acquisition of the Huntsville, Alabama-based janitorial and handyman company, Southern States Services, Inc.
Terri Gogetap, President of FBG, stated, “From our new regional office in Alabama, FBG will now offer building services, including handyman and maintenance/repair services, throughout the Southeast. SSS has been a great partner to us providing services to Bell South in Mississippi and Louisiana. FBG continues to diversify our offerings of services throughout the country and will be focusing on new growth in Alabama. SSS is an established business with a longstanding presence in Huntsville, a solid customer base and were very proud to have our new Southern States Region headquartered in Alabama.”
With the acquisition of SSS, FBG now services customers in much of the Southeastern portion of the United States, including Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina.
