by jbs010910 a3 — January 11, 2010—The U.K.’s Facilities Management Association and FM Charity Network Forum have formed a strategic alliance to provide a working relationship between the two organizations’ members. Both associations will link to each other’s Web sites and will work together to promote each other’s activities and to publicly support the broad purpose and mission of both associations.
Chris Hoar, Director General of the FMA, said the FMA is delighted to support and work with the FM Charity Network Forum to promote the important contribution that facilities managers make to the continued professionalism of the charity sector.
Andy Christophi, Chairman of the FM Charity Network Forum, said that the strategic alliance with the FMA is a major development for the FM Charity Network Forum that will undoubtedly assist the forum in realizing its aim of professionalizing and nurturing FM in the charity sector.
The FM Charity Network Forum currently comprises 52 charities (and expanding) of varying sizes and across a broad range of charity disciplines. The association provides support for those with FM duties within the charity sector.
