by Shane Henson — August 17, 2011—Facilities managers searching for a way to improve their perimeter security and protect their premises from a full-scale, violent attack by hand (such as one launched by a group of professional burglars from a transit van) could benefit from Frontier Pitts Ltd’s full-height Terra Diamond Grade 3 and Grade 4 single rotor turnstiles.

Frontier Pitts Ltd, a perimeter security company headquartered in the United Kingdom, announced it has become the first company to achieve LPS 1175 Issue 6 for their full-height Terra Diamond Grade 3 and Grade 4 single rotor turnstiles. The turnstiles successfully resisted an intensive attack test program in accordance with British standard LPS 1175: Issue 6.

According to Frontier Pitts Ltd, these involved a series of attack tests each lasting at least 10 minutes and using a wide array of hand tools and battery-powered tools. The company claims that Terra Diamond turnstiles are the only turnstiles currently on the market that are approved to LPS 1175 Security Ratings 3 and 4.

Besides being a manufacturer of perimeter security equipment, Frontier-Pitts provides a complete range of services including design, site surveys, manufacture, installation, civil and electrical services, maintenance, spares, repair or refurbishment, and full project management.
