Frost and Sullivan announces 2013 Asia Pacific best practices awards; ISS wins in FM arena

November 18, 2013—Business consulting and research firm Frost and Sullivan recently honored exemplary corporations within the Energy and Power, Environmental and Building Technologies, Healthcare, Industrial Technologies, Transportation and Logistics, and Information and Communication Technologies industries in the Asia Pacific region at the 2013 Frost and Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards held in Singapore.

The success and strong growth of global facilities services provider ISS in the region earned the company the title of 2013 Asia Pacific Facilities Management Company of the Year. ISS integrates and self-delivers a complete set of facilities services including catering, cleaning, security, property and support services throughout the region. Recent contract wins in the area include a services contract covering 23 airports in India, a significant contract with Changi General Hospital in Singapore, and an expanded contract with Singapore General Hospital. ISS’ Barclays contract has also gone live throughout the region. In Australia, ISS won renewals of large contracts within the resource and transportation segments, such as its IFS contract with Searipple Mining Camp and a security contract at Perth Airport.
