G4S security and support firm acquires All Star, which provides FM services to military

by jbs120409 d3 — December 7, 2009—International security and support services firm G4S has signed a $59.9million deal to acquire All Star International, a facilities management firm that focuses on servicing the U.S. military.

Branded as Champions of the West, All Star International was acquired from the Junge Revocable Trust and John P. Junge by the G4S’s U.S. government services business, Wackenhut Services.

The acquisition of All Star supports G4S’s strategy of expanding its capability in providing secure facilities management services in the high-security government sector.

All Star provides FM services and base support operations for the U.S. government, including the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy and the U.S. Postal Service. All Star also has a long history of supporting the European operations of the U.S. military, says G4S.

All Star employs around 1,200 people and reported annual revenues of $127.5 million in the year ending September 2009.
