by Shane Henson — April 5, 2013—Jones Lang LaSalle, a worldwide provider of commercial real estate services, announced that it was recently awarded a five-year facilities management contract to oversee Nippon Sheet Glass Group’s (NSG) global real estate portfolio.
NSG is a global manufacturer of glass and glazing systems. The contract awarded to Jones Lang LaSalle gives the company facilities management responsibilities for properties in Europe, Asia and the Americas, although the contract is phased, with implementation across Europe first and the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions to follow, says Jones Lang LaSalle.
Magnus Akerberg, Managing Director of Integrated Facility Management, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), at Jones Lang LaSalle, expects NSG’s management to be pleased with the world-class service Jones Lang LaSalle is known for providing.
“This engagement represents a vote of confidence in Jones Lang LaSalle’s growing leadership in the facility management environment,” says Akerberg. “It especially underscores the continued expansion of our facility management function across Europe, Middle East and Africa and will enable the development of robust solutions for corporates such as NSG seeking productivity and change.
