GRAPHISOFT ships ARCHICAD 20, newest version of BIM software

by Brianna Crandall — August 3, 2016 — Multinational software corporation GRAPHISOFT, a global provider of building information modeling (BIM) solutions for architects and part of the Nemetschek Group, recently announced that the global rollout process has begun for the newest version of its flagship BIM software, ARCHICAD 20.

Shipping started with the International, U.S., U.K./Ireland, German, and Austrian versions, followed by the French version — the first six of 28 local versions. The rest of the localized language versions will be released on a continual basis.

ARCHICAD is a leading BIM software application used by architects, designers, engineers and builders for over 30 years to professionally design, document and collaborate on building projects. See an explanatory video online.

GRAPHISOFT’s real-time BIM collaboration environment BIMcloud will also be released in parallel with the localized versions of ARCHICAD 20. BIMcloud allows a BIM workflow on any network, hardware or software configuration, connecting teams and projects of any size or setup.
