This year, the awards introduced new categories to reflect changes in the industry, and also invited project applications to be considered by a panel of judges for some other new categories. Winners include:

- Team of the Year Award: Rackspace—Hayes Office
- Cloud/Virtualisation Project of the Year Award: London Borough of Hillingdon with Fordway / Dell Compellent / VMware
- Environmental Design Award: VeryPC—Broadleaf
- Carbon Offsetting Scheme of the Year Award: Woodland Trust—Lock Up Your Carbon
- IT Operator of the Year Award: Interxion
- Environmental Accounting Product of the Year Award: Access—Access Dimensions
- Document Management Product of the Year Award: Canotec—Secure Print
- Ecommerce Innovation of the Year Award: Connexin—VoIP Recycled Phone
- Minister of Energy Award: CA—ecoSoftware 2
- Editor’s Choice Award: Nlyte Software
