by Rebecca Walker — October 6, 2010—GreenWizard, Inc., provider of what is said to be the largest online collection of green-building product data for intelligent material selection, has announced an agreement with AECOM Technology Corporation to promote sustainable construction standards, research, and initiatives.
GreenWizard provides a Web-based software platform for evaluating and analyzing green building materials from thousands of manufacturers. AECOM, the world’s leading design firm and a leading provider of sustainability services, will collaborate with GreenWizard to improve sustainable building materials evaluation.
“AECOM is committed to sustainable high performance building,” said Anthony Bernheim, sustainability principal for architecture at AECOM. “We desire to select building materials and products that have the least environmental and human health impact or have a positive impact, and we welcome the opportunity to work with GreenWizard to move the materials manufacturing industry forward towards truly green building materials.”
