by AF0317 i3 — March 19, 2010—GSH Group, Inc., an international facilities and energy management provider throughout the United States and Europe, has become a part of Baltimore Gas & Electric Company’s (BGE’s) Smart Energy Savers Program.
The program offers tools, resources and financial incentives for BG&E customers to implement energy savings programs and energy conservation projects in their businesses and homes. GSH’s partnership will focus on assisting BGE’s commercial customers with developing and achieving their energy conservation goals while taking advantage of the financial incentives offered by BGE, according to GSH.
BGE’s program offers commercial customers incentives in lighting, controls, motors, HVAC systems, unitary equipment, chillers, variable frequency drives, commercial refrigeration equipment, and new equipment upgrades. Financial incentives cover a maximum of half of the cost for retrofit projects and up to three quarters of the incremental cost for new construction projects.
In addition to assistance with energy audits and surveys, GSH’s mechanical team will also complete the project installation and any measurement and verification that it required to receive the incentives. GSH can also help customers to achieve the prestigious Energy Star government rating.
