GSH Group to provide operations and maintenance services for two Maryland airports

by Shane Henson — September 28, 2012—GSH Group Inc., a multinational facilities and energy management provider, has been awarded a three-year contract, with two two-year options, for the provision of operations and maintenance services at Maryland’s Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport.

Under the agreement, worth approximately $7.5 million annually, GSH Group will deliver an operations and maintenance solution covering all heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, including central utility plant, building management system, fire alarms, and water treatment services.

GSH Group will provide mechanical and electrical services, including all planned preventative, routine and emergency maintenance requirements at both airports. A dedicated team of 47 management, administrative and engineering professionals will handle all aspects of the contract and provide on-site support 24 hours per day, seven days a week.

The company’s leadership is proud to have won the confidence and business of the Maryland Aviation Administration, which awarded the contract after considering various bids.
