January 23, 2006—Haworth Inc. has introduced eight new seating fabrics as part of an ongoing surface collection enhancement, the company says. Six of the fabrics are sustainable and two are McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC) Cradle to Cradle certified. With these additions, more than 30% of Haworths standard seating offering fabrics are in the sustainable category.
Haworths new fabric patterns range from finely textured solid colored weaves to decorative and playful larger scale patterns in bright, rich colors. The offerings are available in grades A-D and represent a total of 92 colors.
The new colors have been selected to coordinate with existing Haworth systems and seating fabrics, as well as the new mesh colors for Zody and X99.
Haworth Inc. is a global leader in the design and manufacture of adaptable workspaces, including raised floors, movable walls, systems furniture, seating, storage and wood casegoods. For more on the company, see its Web site.
