by Brianna Crandall — March 6, 2013—The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) announced on February 18 its annual Global Outsourcing 100 and World’s 20 Best Outsourcing Advisors lists, as well as its Global Excellence in Outsourcing award, which the organization says show outsourcing continues to grow throughout the economic crisis.
The lists were revealed in alphabetical order at IAOP’s 2013 Outsourcing World Summit, which convenes hundreds of outsourcing customers, advisors and providers from around the globe to share strategies for success in today’s economy. The official rankings will be unveiled in a special section in the May 20, 2013, Fortune 500 issue of FORTUNE magazine.
The outsourcing service providers named to the eighth annual listing of Global Outsourcing 100 include companies from around the world providing the full spectrum of outsourcing services. The list includes such FM/real estate services providers as ISS, CBRE (CB Richard Ellis) and Jones Lang LaSalle.
“As 2013 begins to see moderate growth in the economy, choosing the right outsourcing partners will be more important than ever,” said IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett. “The Global Outsourcing 100 and the World’s Best Outsourcing Advisors lists help companies easily identify partners that will help them emerge as leaders.”
IAOP also honored teams from Sears Holdings and Sprint as winners of the third annual Global Excellence in Outsourcing (GEO) award. The Sears Holdings team received the award for the best practices category and the Sprint team received the award for the innovation category.
