by Shane Henson — March 9, 2012—Forward-thinking companies wanting to create a different look for their offices and boardrooms and boost their employees’ creativity and collaboration in the process can benefit from using IdeaPaint’s dry-erase paint solutions. And now, the company is expanding its product portfolio with the introduction of CREATE, a new low-odor, easy-to-install dry-erase paint.
IdeaPaint is a single-coat, roller-applied paint that turns any smooth surface into a high-performance dry-erase writing surface. IdeaPaint products create dynamic environments within corporate, educational and residential settings.
Similar to IdeaPaint’s HOME and PRO products, CREATE can transform any smooth surface (i.e. walls, desks, table tops, doors and more) into a functioning “whiteboard,” providing users with a limitless canvas for creativity and collaboration. Additionally, CREATE offers exciting new attributes, including an optional roller or spray application and a four-day cure time to achieve optimal performance, when users can write on their IdeaPaint walls with confidence. This is a 40 percent reduction from previous product iterations, which required a seven-day cure time, says the company.
CREATE is also a certified low-emission paint that is both LEED-compliant under the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design program, and GREENGUARD Children & School certified by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute. It is also guaranteed to perform under a 10-year warranty.
“We are continuously striving to innovate and to provide our customers with the very best dry-erase paint products,” said Bob Munroe, IdeaPaint CEO. “CREATE is the ‘latest and greatest’ in dry-erase paint. We are excited to launch this second-generation product—our first major formulation change since we introduced the high-performance dry-erase paint category in 2008.” IdeaPaint is also a Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Top Ten Small Business of 2011 and a Small Business Association of New England 2011 Innovation Award Winner.
