IFMA invites FM professionals to World Workplace 2015 to get inspired and informed

by Brianna Crandall — July 17, 2015—The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has extended an invitation to FM professionals to its World Workplace Conference and Expo, considered the largest annual learning and networking event for facilities management and related workplace professions. Held October 7-9, 2015, at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado, this career-enhancing conference promises to change the way attendees see their facilities and their role in managing them.

Programming is built around this year’s theme, “Collaborate to Innovate,” which emphasizes the importance of working together to find solutions and create future opportunities for FM professionals, their facilities, the profession, and their communities. From the finest professional education and world-renowned speakers to dynamic social events and a well-rounded expo, World Workplace is designed to provide time away from the ordinary to experience the extraordinary, says IFMA.

IFMA encourages FM-related professionals to come to the conference in order to “get involved, get inspired, [and] get informed,” and to compare processes and programs with colleagues, as well as relieve facility hiccups and headaches with products and services discovered on the expo floor.

Attendees include FM professionals as well as all who support facilities, from information technology (IT), project management (PM) and human resources (HR) to engineering, security, real estate and sustainability/energy specialists and others. More than 4,000 attendees from 40 countries and from every state in the USA, representing more than 2,000 companies, attend annually, resulting in a high level of networking and collaboration among industries.

Interactive, informative and enlightening, World Workplace educational sessions address existing and impending workplace challenges, increasing demands, forward-thinking management strategies, and groundbreaking FM concepts and practices, with CEUs available, says IFMA. New York Times bestselling author and award-winning blogger Neil Pasricha will share breakthroughs in the study of happiness in the opening keynote address, “The Three A’s of Awesome: How to Be Awesome at Work!”

IFMA encourages all FM-related professionals to gather to share concerns, exchange ideas and gain inspiration in this supportive and empowering environment. More information and registration is available on the World Workplace Web site. Full Event and Full Event PLUS! registration provides an all-access pass to conference and expo activities.
