by Rebecca Walker — July 20, 2009—Incentive FM has acquired cleaning specialist, Quality Assured Services (QAS), in a move designed to complement its existing FM business and strengthen its presence in the commercial cleaning and public sectors.
QAS is a specialist cleaning and FM business in the U.K. that employs 600 staff, all of whom have joined the Incentive FM Group as part of the deal. About 90 percent of its business is contract cleaning and the business boasts a prestigious customer base with a particularly strong presence in the public sector.
Steve Wright, the founder and chairman at QAS will join as both a director and shareholder in Incentive FM Group, the holding company for the various Incentive companies. All cleaning activities will be integrated with the current activities of Incentive Support Services and the cleaning and support services section of Incentive will re rebranded as Incentive QAS.
