IoT, ready-for-integration security products dominate ASIS 2015 awards

by Brianna Crandall — September 25, 2015—ASIS International, the worldwide organization for security professionals, has selected its 2015 ASIS Accolades Award winners, said to be dominated this year by Internet of Things and ready-for-integration products and services. The awards competition recognizes the security industry’s most innovative new products, services and/or solutions, as evaluated by a team of judges representing end users and experts in security technologies.

The 10 winners will be shown at the ASIS International 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2015), to be held next week (September 28 to October 1) in Anaheim, California. More than 20,000 security, business and government professionals from more than 90 countries are expected to attend. The event’s comprehensive education program will offer 200+ sessions in 25 specialty tracks, addressing the hottest topics in security today, with the exhibits featuring more than 500 companies and their products and services that are transforming the industry.

Accolades Co-Chair Ron Lander, CPP, observed that the “Internet of Things is highly visible among this year’s submissions,” and Co-Chair Howard Belfor, CPP, added, “Innovative, ready-for-integration entries offer a glimpse into some of today’s newest and most exciting offerings. ASIS 2015 attendees will see a vast array of products and services to advance risk mitigation in the exhibit hall this year, along with this year’s Accolades winners.”
