by Brianna Crandall — October 15, 2014—Recognizing that new leadership strategies must evolve to meet the needs of a workforce trending younger — without losing sight of more seasoned professionals — the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has published a new white paper to help guide the process. Titled simply “Leadership Development: Evolution of Leadership,” the publication is the 11th in a series of IREM white papers that focus on various leadership-related competencies critical to real estate management and general business achievement.
Among the white paper’s many content highlights: Predictions of what our future leadership will most likely resemble, and tips on how to prepare oneself for changing workforce demographics. The publication also examines generational differences and factors that have shaped them, and looks at common types of leadership styles that exist in the workplace.
IREM members can download the seven-page IREM white paper on “Leadership Development: Evolution of Leadership” at no cost from the IREM Bookstore, but they must log in as a member to download the publication free. The price of the publication for non-members is $5.99.
