IREM partners with Center for Creative Leadership for leadership development resources

by Brianna Crandall — September 29, 2014—The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) has established a cooperative relationship with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a top-ranked global provider of executive education, with a focus on leadership development and research. As a result of the relationship, real estate management industry practitioners will have ready access through IREM to an increasing array of CCL resources, including leadership Guidebooks and online leadership courses.

Commenting on the new partnership, IREM 2014 President Joe Greenblatt, CPM, said, “CCL’s mission is to create new knowledge that advances our industry and others and that positively transforms the way leaders, their organizations and their societies confront the most difficult challenges of the 21st century. We embrace that mission fully and look forward to augmenting IREM’s already large inventory of leadership development offerings — including white papers, Webinars, and special events — with those of the CCL.”

Currently available in IREM’s online bookstore are electronic editions of 11 of CCL’s Leadership Guidebooks, with titles such as Responses to Change: Helping People Manage Transition; Keeping your Career on Track: Twenty Success Strategies; Building an Authentic Leadership Image; and Leadership Networking: Connect, Collaborate, Create. Over time, nearly 50 more Guidebook titles will follow and 13 online self-paced leadership courses will be offered through the IREM Web site.

CCL Guidebooks are priced at $9.50 for IREM Members and $11.95 for nonmembers, and may be ordered or downloaded from the IREM Web site.
