ISS Airspeed recently acquired Fernley Airport Services, formerly owned by Swissport International AG, and has consequently moved into Stansted airport. ISS Airspeed has 1,200 employees at London Gatwick and Heathrow, with a turnover of 20 million. The company has both airside and landside operations, providing services such as lounge management, specialist cleaning, portering, waste management, catering, pest control, landscaping, valet services, and warehouse management. ISS Airspeed has now attained the goal set in the company’s vision statement, aim2002; namely, to have 80% of its staff employed full-time and multi-skilled.
