by Brianna Crandall — April 17, 2019 — The Danish Building and Property Agency, the state’s property enterprise and developer, just announced that they have selected ISS Denmark as their partner in Wave 1 of the government’s comprehensive integrated facility services outsourcing plan.
Rasmus Brandt Lassen, director of the Danish Building and Property Agency, remarked:
ISS has significant capacity in the market, and we look forward to starting a strong partnership, where we can jointly develop, improve and professionalize an area with huge potential. We work with three core benchmarks for the solution: efficiency, quality and user satisfaction. Together with ISS, we will take up this challenge to ensure that the public institutions can focus on their core purpose to an even greater extent.
The seven-year contract between global facilities services provider ISS and the Danish Building and Property Agency goes into effect on October 1, 2019, and will cover 162 locations. ISS will deliver services in catering, internal and external property maintenance, cleaning, security, support services, and waste management.
Flemming Bendt, country manager for ISS Denmark, commented:
We are pleased and proud that the Danish Building and Property Agency have chosen us as their partner, and we look forward to working with them to ensure that the conditions are right for state authority employees and their guests to be able to focus on their core tasks. At the same time, I’m thrilled that we can welcome more than 200 new colleagues who will join ISS as part of the agreement.
In partnership with customers, ISS drives the engagement and well-being of people, minimizes the impact on the environment, and protects and maintains property.
