by Brianna Crandall — June 19, 2017 — Of interest to facilities managers (FMs) in the market for outsourced services, global facility services provider ISS Group announced four contracts across Europe in recent weeks, highlighted below, that illustrate the company’s breadth of services.
ISS France wins multiservice contract with Fiat Chrysler Automotive
ISS France won a new multiservice contract to service Italian car manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automotive at 21 sites throughout France. Nearly 150 new employees join ISS on the contract, which is mainly cleaning oriented, but also includes other services such as logistics, pest control and snow removal.
Antoine Namand, country manager of ISS France, stated:
Delivering multiservice contracts is one of our strengths. To do so, we rely on our teams of business experts and our know-how in self-delivery to, for instance, the automotive sector. This allows us to massively reduce the use of subcontracting.
The 21 sites managed by ISS under the contract belong to both Fiat Chrysler Automotive and CNH Industrial, a global provider of capital goods.
ISS wins Northern European IFS contract with Ramboll
ISS will also deliver integrated facility services to all of engineering, design and consultancy company Ramboll’s facilities across the Nordics and the U.K.
The new agreement builds on an existing relationship, whereby ISS has delivered services to Ramboll in Denmark since 2012. The new five-year contract will see ISS providing facility services to Ramboll’s more than 100 sites in Finland, Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Denmark. The contract is expected to be fully operational by the end of Q2 2017.
Ramboll, which has nearly 300 offices in 35 countries, noted it was important to the company to partner with a facility services provider “with strong leadership and experience from global facility management contracts, including access to best practices and excellence competencies.”
ISS extends and expands partnership with SEB
ISS Sweden has extended and expanded its partnership with SEB, a Nordic financial services group. As part of the contract, ISS will deliver integrated facility services to all SEB offices in Sweden.
The new contract includes SEB’s main sites in Stockholm, Malmö, Göteborg and Sundsvall, and all branch offices across Sweden, a total of approximately 170 sites. SEB’s new office in Arenastaden, Solna, which will open May 2017, will also be included in the contract. Further, SEB’s central support functions are also covered by the contract.
The contract commenced May 1, 2017, and will run for three years with the possibility of extension. ISS will deliver reception services, contact center services, service center, conference services, host services, cleaning services, post and goods handling, property services, waste management, and indoor plants service.
The objective of the facility services contract is a long-term partnership that will support high customer satisfaction among SEB employees and customers, as the focus will be on creating a safe, secure, and attractive workplace under constant development and improvement.
ISS wins five-year contract with mental health trust SLaM in the U.K.
ISS has been awarded a new contract in the healthcare sector with the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) worth an estimated GBP 55 million over the initial five-year term.
Based in and around Southeast London, SLaM provides the widest range of mental health services under the National Health Service in the U.K. The contract will see ISS deliver catering and healthcare cleaning across the Trust.
The SLaM Implementation Team stated that they have found ISS “responsive and helpful at all times, they understand the challenges of a Mental Health Trust, and we look forward to working with them to help us continue to focus on the well-being of our service users.”
ISS has previously served SLaM, up until 2009, and with the new contract, ISS will resume the relationship under a five-year contract.
