by Ann Withanee — November 24, 2010—ISS Facility Services’ education division has been awarded four new multi-million pound catering contracts, worth a total 25m, covering around 75 locations in England, according to a recent announcement.
The five-year contracts are with The Colchester Institute, Slough Borough Council, York City Council and the Merton Secondary Schools PFI.
The Colchester Institute contract will see ISS provide theater-style cooking, coffee shops, juice bars and an American-style diner.
The Slough council contract will provide outsourced catering to all primary schools, and the Merton Schools contract will see ISS provide its meal soups and bowl food contract. The contract also includes grounds maintenance.
The York City Council expands the education catering services division into the north of England. The 14m contract will supply 44 primary and four secondary schools with outsourced catering services.
