Prior to the hospital’s opening, ISS Portugal was contracted to provide engineering services and assistance, as well as preventive and corrective maintenance applied to the buildings, and to the special technical facilities and existing equipment.
According to ISS, the maintenance service has a resident team of experienced and qualified technicians in several areas such as engineering, electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), mechanical, hydraulic, civil, gas and utilities, among other specialties. The team ensures delivery of preventive and corrective maintenance service 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
The implemented maintenance system is set to ensure full transparency in action, the proper functioning of the buildings, surroundings, facilities and technical equipment, providing employees and patients with a safe environment, functional and able to provide the services a hospital requires, says ISS.
