ISS scores janitorial services contract with Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

by Shane Henson — November 4, 2013—ISS, a global outsourcing provider of facilities management services, recently announced it was awarded a new two-year cleaning contract with Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, said to be the ninth largest airport in the United States and the largest commercial airport in the American Southwest. The airport bills itself as “America’s Friendliest Airport.”

More than 375 ISS professionals will be working at the airport as part of the contract, where they will be providing janitorial services to all public areas, including airport offices and rental car facilities. Their sole focus will be on delivering a safe and clean environment for the more than 40 million passengers and staff the airport serves each year, says ISS, which has a track record of success delivering a wide range of janitorial and facilities management services for other airports within the United States and abroad.

“We are delighted to have been chosen as a service provider for Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. This contract is a significant award for ISS and underlies our strength in the aviation sector across North America,” said Mauro Scigliano, COO for ISS facility services North America.
