by Shane Henson — April 3, 2013—Global facilities services provider ISS Group was recently awarded a major contract to deliver integrated facilities services to Citi in the Asia-Pacific region. ISS says that when the agreement with the global bank is fully implemented during the second quarter of 2013, Citi will become one of the company’s largest customers.
ISS already has experience working with Citi through other pre-existing contracts. As part of the new agreement, ISS will deliver a wide range of services to more than 1,500 Citi sites and 1.3 million square meters in the Asia-Pacific region. The contract includes property services, cleaning, support services, energy and technical management, landscaping, and facilities management.
A total of 19 countries are covered by the new extended partnership, including Japan, India, Korea, Singapore, China/Hong Kong and Australia.
“We take the new agreement covering Asia-Pacific as a clear vote of confidence from our partner Citi. We are very proud and excited that Citi has chosen to extend our existing agreement covering the EMEA countries and, in addition, enter into a new integrated facility services agreement for all the Citi operations in the Asia-Pacific region,” said Jeff Gravenhorst, Group CEO for ISS A/S.
