by Brianna Crandall — January 9, 2013—Global facilities services provider ISS has secured a contract to provide the eye-catching Porsche Museum facility in Stuttgart, Germany with several kinds of services. ISS will provide the Porsche Museum with cleaning services, maintenance, glass and façade cleaning, garden maintenance, snow removal and pest control. The contract will engage about 22 ISS employees and covers the museum’s 30,000 square meters, of which 5,600 is exhibition space.

Porsche wants a prestigious appearance of the property and perfect museum operations. We are able to provide this through excellent supporting processes and standardized documentation to simplify processes.”
Opened in January 2009, the Porsche Museum is considered the company’s most spectacular building project. The monolithic edifice with the virtually floating exhibition hall was designed by Vienna’s Delugan Meissl Associated Architects to convey a sense of arrival and approachability. Approximately 80 historic vehicles, including the company’s most iconic cars, as well as more than 200 small exhibits showcasing Porsche design and history are housed in a unique ambience in the spacious exhibition area.
