by Brianna Crandall — May 10, 2013—Global facilities services provider ISS has been ranked number one on the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) annual rankings of the world’s best outsourcing companies. The lists of IAOP’s annual Global Outsourcing 100 and World’s 20 Best Outsourcing Advisors were revealed in alphabetical order at IAOP’s 2013 Outsourcing World Summit in February, and now the official rankings and sub-lists have been unveiled in a special advertising section in the May 20, 2013, Fortune 500 issue of FORTUNE magazine.
According to IAOP, the lists show that outsourcing has continued to grow throughout the economic crisis. The organization says the lists also indicate a fundamental shift in the way companies view their outsourcing suppliers, away from simple cost reductions to a more collaborative, strategic relationship. “We have entered a new age of outsourcing, where more customers are viewing their suppliers as key strategic partners,” Debi Hamill, CEO of IAOP, told FORTUNE. “And partnership really is the key term, as providers and customers are working more closely. Together they are developing innovative, often end-to-end solutions and even changing business models.”
The outsourcing service providers named to the eighth annual listing of Global Outsourcing 100 include companies from around the world providing the full spectrum of outsourcing services. The top 75 form the Leaders Judging Group of larger, more established firms, and the final 25 comprise the Rising Stars Judging Group of smaller, emerging companies. Besides ISS, the list includes such major FM/real estate services providers as CBRE, Sodexo, Johnson Controls, ARAMARK and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Top-ranked ISS delivers a complete set of facilities services such as catering, cleaning, security, property and support services across the globe.
